Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead a cross-functional team of 8-10 quantum physicists and software engineers
- Collaborate with industry partners to deploy quantum solutions in finance and healthcare
- Secure $2M+ in research grants and publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually
- Drive the development of error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Present findings at global quantum computing conferences (Q2C, IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or top-tier conferences
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error mitigation
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience managing R&D budgets and securing government/industry funding
- Strong leadership background with demonstrated team scaling capabilities
