Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era AI optimization and simulation systems
- Design and execute fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype next-gen quantum processors and error correction models
- Develop cryptographic frameworks for post-quantum security standards
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of quantum physicists, computer scientists, and mathematicians
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through NSF and DoE grant proposals

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier 1 institution
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design and error correction
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DoE preferred)
