Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead quantum hardware integration projects with classical computing systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science)
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum information theory
- Develop error mitigation strategies for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum networking protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum chemistry
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and control
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience leading technical teams of 8+ researchers
- Patent portfolio in quantum technology (3+ granted patents)
