Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic security systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D grants through NIH/DARPA proposals
- Mentor PhD researchers and postdoctoral fellows in quantum theory
- Develop roadmap for quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Strong background in Shor's/Grover's algorithm implementations
- Experience leading DARPA/NIH quantum research projects
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
