Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptography protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop error-correction frameworks for scalable quantum systems
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and patent 3+ quantum technologies annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with IBM/Qiskit or Google Cirq
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of securing NSF/DARPA grants
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum systems
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design
