Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals with quarterly targets
- Develop error-correction protocols to advance quantum coherence beyond 1000 qubits
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and tensor networks
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) environments
- Track record of translating quantum theory into commercial IP
