Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Design and optimize quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into functional prototypes
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at global quantum symposia
- Secure research grants and partnerships with national quantum initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and mitigation strategies
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or similar)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex probability theory
- Track record of securing competitive research grants
