Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Develop error correction protocols to overcome quantum decoherence
- Lead prototyping of superconducting quantum processors at cryogenic temperatures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top quantum computing journals
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum breakthroughs
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Proficiency in quantum error correction techniques (surface codes, LDPC)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum systems
- Ability to secure $5M+ in research funding
