Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum coherence in commercial systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into functional quantum circuits
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define next-gen quantum processor specifications
- Secure $2M+ in NSF/DARPA grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence phenomena
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU acceleration
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex probability distributions
