Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical ML pipelines
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE/APS conferences
- Secure $1M+ in government grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates and oversee quantum computing interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates encouraged)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and HPC frameworks
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contract work
