Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop novel quantum error-correction protocols to enhance computational stability
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum processors with classical systems
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Secure federal and private funding through compelling research proposals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics principles
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and tools
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Google, Rigetti)
