Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting platforms
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Identify emerging quantum threats and develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science or quantum computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant designs
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
