Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-resistant security systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop error-correction methodologies for scalable quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation workshops
- Secure research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with Qiskit/Cirq
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in high-performance computing environments (HPC)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Q#, Quil)
