Responsibilities

- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for next-gen AI systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Secure $10M+ in research grants from government and private sector partners
- Mentor PhD candidates and build next-generation quantum research talent pipeline
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, DOE)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum annealing
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into commercially viable prototypes
