Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning frameworks
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design and Qiskit/PennyLane
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit architectures
- Published research in quantum information theory (h-index > 15)
- Proficiency in C++/Python for quantum simulation development
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum research facilities
