Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems on hardware platforms
- Develop error-correction techniques for scalable quantum computing
- Publish high-impact research in leading scientific journals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize quantum solutions
- Secure external research funding through grants and partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and noise mitigation
- Strong programming skills in Python and low-level quantum languages
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Track record of securing research funding or industry partnerships
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
