Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research on quantum error correction techniques at scale
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Secure $1M+ in NSF/DARPA grants annually
- Mentor PhD interns from partner institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published work in quantum error correction or topology
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
