Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NISQ-era applications

- Create machine learning models leveraging quantum advantage for real-time data processing
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through DARPA/NSF proposals
- Publish 4+ high-impact papers annually in top-tier journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum gate model or quantum annealing systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science or IEEE Transactions
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing and fault tolerance
