Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum hardware prototypes
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Develop patent-pending quantum error correction methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy programs

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems modeling
- Experience securing federal research grants
