Responsibilities

- Develop error mitigation protocols for near-term quantum devices
- Author peer-reviewed publications and white papers on quantum computational complexity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure competitive research funding through federal and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum simulation tools (Q#, IBM Quantum Experience, Google Cirq)
