Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in simulating quantum phenomena using classical supercomputers
- Author patents for novel quantum hardware architectures
- Collaborate with AI researchers to hybridize quantum-classical machine learning models
- Present quarterly progress to our Scientific Advisory Board
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic processors
- Strong background in linear algebra and topological quantum field theory
- Security clearance eligibility (for government-funded projects)
