Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical 2026 applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead quantum hardware optimization projects targeting 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop error-correction protocols for commercially viable quantum processors
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with demonstrated publications
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
