Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into scalable implementations
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with superconducting or trapped-ion systems
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing venues
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of securing government or corporate research grants
