Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, optimization, and simulation applications
- Design and execute experimental quantum computing protocols using superconducting and photonic systems
- Publish 3-5 high-impact research papers in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review X)
- Mentor junior researchers and collaborate with MIT/Stanford quantum consortium partners
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
- Present findings at global quantum summits (IEEE Quantum Week, Q2B)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates encouraged)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and hardware interfaces
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, group theory, and topology
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks
- Track record of collaborative research in multi-institutional quantum projects
- Understanding of quantum machine learning and NISQ-era algorithms
