Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams on quantum error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Secure federal and private research grants
- Advise product teams on quantum integration strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of securing research funding
- Experience mentoring junior researchers
