Responsibilities
- Design quantum-classical hybrid architectures with 99.999% uptime requirements
- Lead implementation of cryogenic cooling systems for quantum processors
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across physics, engineering, and software domains
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Optimize resource allocation for quantum cloud infrastructure
- Create scalability roadmaps for exascale quantum computing deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing large-scale distributed computing systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
