Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-safe network architectures for hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Lead integration of photonic processors with traditional silicon infrastructure
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum communication protocols across metropolitan networks
- Optimize quantum algorithm deployment on distributed computing grids
- Architect edge-computing nodes for real-time quantum data processing
- Establish quantum security frameworks for zero-trust infrastructure
- Document system blueprints using quantum modeling simulation tools
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing high-performance distributed systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Certification in quantum security protocols (e.g., QKD implementation)
- Experience with photonic computing hardware integration
- Published research in quantum systems or IEEE Quantum Computing papers
