Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with fault-tolerant qubit arrangements
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Create quantum error correction protocols for real-world deployment
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for finance, logistics, and drug discovery use cases
- Architect cryogenic control systems and quantum interconnects
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on quantum chip fabrication specifications
- Document quantum system specifications and integration protocols
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years quantum computing architecture experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with quantum hardware design (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
