Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for enterprise and research applications
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors with error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum security protocols
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Document system architectures and publish breakthrough methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or HPC system design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Rigetti, IonQ)
- Security clearance for DoD/NASA quantum projects preferred
