Responsibilities
- Design and optimize next-gen solar/wind hybrid systems with AI-driven predictive maintenance capabilities
- Develop grid-integration protocols for 10MW+ microgrids with autonomous load balancing
- Lead lifecycle analysis of hydrogen storage systems for commercial-scale deployment
- Architect blockchain-based energy trading platforms for decentralized P2P networks
- Simulate climate-resilient energy infrastructure under 2026 projected scenarios
- Mentor cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping methodologies
- Secure DOE and private sector funding for pilot projects
Qualifications
- Masters in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Systems with 5+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in HOMER, PVsyst, and MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Deep expertise in battery management systems (BMS) and solid-state tech
- Experience with IEEE 1547 and NEC 2026 compliance frameworks
- Published research in grid modernization or energy storage innovation
- Strong Python/C++ skills for IoT edge device development
- Security clearance for DOE collaboration projects preferred
