Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Senior Agentic AI Engineer to join Orbital Horizon AI. As we prepare for the autonomous era of 2026, we are building the next generation of self-improving AI agents capable of complex, multi-step reasoning and autonomous execution.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and production-grade agentic systems. You will design architectures where agents not only understand language but can autonomously interact with external tools, databases, and APIs to solve real-world problems.
Why join us? We are a funded Series B startup backed by top-tier VCs, focused on the intersection of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Autonomous Systems. We offer competitive equity, remote-first flexibility, and the chance to define the standard for AI agents in 2026.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, and CrewAI.
- Design sophisticated reasoning loops and memory architectures to enable agents to learn from past interactions.
- Implement robust evaluation and testing pipelines (e.g., RAGAS, TruLens) to measure agent performance and reliability.
- Integrate agents with enterprise APIs and databases to automate complex workflows.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to translate business requirements into agentic capabilities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years specifically in AI/ML or NLP.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience building or deploying Agentic AI applications (e.g., using LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar).
- Strong grasp of vector databases and vector search algorithms.
