Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of the Project 2026 infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance at scale.
- Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of researchers, data scientists, and product managers to translate complex requirements into technical blueprints.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide strategic guidance on technology selection for future-proofing our systems.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee system deployments, monitoring performance metrics, and driving architectural refinements based on data.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, distributed systems projects in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of modern programming languages (Python, Go, Rust) and architectural patterns.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and high-throughput data processing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive decisions in uncertain environments.
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
