What You'll Accomplish: Lead the development of our 2026 Technology Horizon Report, establish international partnerships for emerging tech adoption, and create frameworks for ethical AI deployment. This position reports directly to our Chief Innovation Officer and includes executive speaking opportunities at global summits.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps covering quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Coordinate with C-suite executives to integrate futuristic strategies into quarterly business objectives
- Lead cross-functional task forces comprising engineers, ethicists, and policy experts
- Present findings at international forums including World Economic Davos and CES
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption readiness across industry verticals
- Manage $2M annual innovation grant portfolio for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership publications in top-tier journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review)
Qualifications
- PhD in Future Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated expertise
- 10+ years in strategic foresight or C-level technology leadership
- Published research on exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of scaling innovation initiatives from concept to market
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Experience securing federal grants and international partnerships
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and predictive analytics tools
- Portfolio of implemented future-shaping initiatives with measurable impact
