- Produce actionable whitepapers and scenario-planning documents for stakeholders
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis methodologies
- Integrate ethical considerations into all future-tech projections
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning software)
- Experience with scenario planning and systems thinking methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy through foresight work
