Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with quarterly strategic pivots
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and space exploration
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future societal impacts of emerging technologies
- Collaborate with venture capital partners to scout and incubate 2026-focused startups
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board members with actionable recommendations
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies before mainstream adoption
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning software)
- Portfolio of 2020-2025 technology predictions with documented accuracy rates
