Responsibilities
- Develop and publish quarterly trend briefings on exponential technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate engineering)
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and government think tanks
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems integration in critical infrastructure
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-viable solutions in our Innovation Labs
- Present strategic foresight findings at global forums (Web Summit, Davos, CES)
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry benchmarks for predictive analytics
- Drive adoption of horizon scanning methodologies across 15+ departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Expertise in exponential technology convergence (AI, biotech, clean energy)
- Experience with Delphi method, cross-impact matrix analysis, and causal layered analysis
- Proven track record advising Fortune 500 or government entities on long-term strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proficiency in futures simulation platforms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ successful 5+ year strategic predictions
