Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify and validate emerging trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and publish annual Future State reports with predictive modeling and scenario planning frameworks
- Architect strategic roadmaps for technology adoption, market entry, and product innovation cycles
- Facilitate executive workshops on risk mitigation and opportunity identification for future disruptions
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist networks, academic partners, and industry thought leaders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish standardized foresight methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption lifecycle management
- Exceptional command of quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and predictive modeling
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains: AI ethics, biotech convergence, quantum computing, and climate resilience
- Certification from World Future Society or Association of Professional Futurists strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations with measurable ROI
