Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and human-machine interfaces
- Develop quantitative and qualitative foresight models mapping potential futures through 2030
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for board-level strategic decision-making
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish cross-functional innovation pipelines translating foresight into R&D priorities
- Mentor junior futurists and build external partnerships with academic institutions
- Present quarterly strategic forecasts to executive leadership and investor committees
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented technology leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative construction abilities
- Published work in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology adoption strategies
