Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks across technology, market, and socio-economic domains
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on future disruption risks and opportunities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their enterprise applicability by 2026
- Produce quarterly trend reports with data-driven predictions and strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions aligned with 2026 market projections
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional foresight capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impact projections
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (required)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
