Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive stakeholders across global divisions
- Produce high-impact trend reports on AI ethics, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product innovation pipelines
- Establish external thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists using proprietary horizon-scanning methodologies
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic variables affecting 2026 business landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario modeling and trend analysis frameworks
- Published thought leadership in futurism or emerging technologies
- Experience with quantitative forecasting tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful futures projects
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
