Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and synthesize emerging technological, social, and economic signals through multi-source intelligence gathering
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models mapping 5-10 year industry transformations
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and strategic briefings for C-suite stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies into organizational planning
- Establish and maintain proprietary trend-tracking frameworks using advanced analytics tools
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight insights into product innovation pipelines
- Represent the organization at global foresight conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, Data Science, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and weak signal detection
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling
- Exceptional written and verbal communication with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation journals preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating complex trend analysis projects for Fortune 500 clients
