Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic planning cycles
- Translate foresight findings into actionable innovation roadmaps for product development teams
- Present future outlooks to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Author white papers and thought leadership on emerging paradigm shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation abilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and strategic foresight tools
- Portfolio of published future outlooks or innovation frameworks
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex systems
