Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) and forecast market impacts through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in healthcare, finance, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and designers to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present trend forecasts to C-suite executives at global industry summits
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through data-driven trend validation
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on 2026 technology adoption studies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals on future technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palantir)
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (SBIR/STTR)
- Fluency in at least two of: Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend predictions with 85%+ accuracy
