As our lead futurist, you'll operate at the intersection of technology, sociology, and economics, identifying paradigm shifts before they reshape markets. You'll lead cross-functional teams in developing scenario-based strategies, prototype breakthrough concepts, and deliver actionable intelligence that drives billion-dollar decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead innovation workshops with C-suite executives to decode emerging tech impacts (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Design and validate disruptive business models for future market landscapes
- Produce executive-grade foresight reports with predictive analytics and risk assessments
- Partner with R&D to prototype and test future-state solutions in live environments
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist thought leaders and domain experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing executable future strategies for Fortune 500 clients
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Certification in scenario planning or horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience building innovation ecosystems across public and private sectors
