Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks integrating AI, biotech, and climate innovation
- Produce high-impact scenario planning reports for executive decision-making and investor communications
- Architect cross-functional innovation sprints translating future insights into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain an expert network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Present future-state analyses at global conferences and board-level strategy sessions
- Mentor junior futurists and champion a culture of continuous learning and experimentation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, and climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience managing global innovation teams and cross-cultural collaboration
