Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, economic, and environmental domains
- Develop and present 10-year strategic foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Mentor a team of futurists and researchers while managing innovation pipeline priorities
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions and validate emerging opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record developing 10+ year strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Deep technical fluency in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills with data visualization expertise
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan, etc.)
- Experience managing cross-disciplinary innovation teams in matrix organizations
