Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and forecast their impact on business models
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Maintain the Horizon Futures Index - our proprietary trend-tracking system
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Proven experience developing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their implications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Published thought leadership in future trends or strategy
