Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) relevant to 2026 market landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term business adaptation
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate future-state solutions
- Present compelling futures-focused insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, industry talks, and published research
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to generate breakthrough concepts
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic factors impacting future technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and quantitative trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field
