Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ horizon planning
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Produce scenario-based strategic models for board-level decision-making
- Establish KPIs for tracking future-readiness across organizational domains
- Partner with R&D to align long-term innovation pipelines with market evolution
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling visual storytelling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impact
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
