Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Translate foresight insights into strategic roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Maintain competitive intelligence through partnerships with academic institutions and policy labs
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive modeling and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP) strongly preferred
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning software)
